AdSense for Feeds is a Google service that allows web publishers to earn by placing Google ads in their site feeds. Yes, you can earn while distributing your content via feeds. Just like other AdSense ads, feed ads deliver targeted ads relevant to your content and your readers. Feed ads can be targeted in two ways: contextually to the content in your feed or by advertisers to your specific feed. Google will pay you either on a per click (CPC) or per thousand impression (CPM) basis.

AdSense for feeds is very easy to use. Unlike other AdSense products, it doesn’t require you to copy and paste any ad codes. So, want to use AdSense for Feeds? Great! In order to use AdSense for Feeds, you must first import your RSS feeds into your Google Account. If you are already using Google Account for your feeds, then of course you can start right away. And if you are not, import your feeds and follow the steps below to add Google ads to your RSS feeds.

1. Sign in to your Google AdSense account.
2. On the AdSense Setup tab, choose AdSense for Feeds.
3. Your feed unit will be automatically named and properly sized for your feed.
4. Set your ad type, frequency, post length, position, and colors.
5. Add a channel, and mark it targetable by advertisers.
6. Choose a feed in which you want feed ads to be displayed. If you’ve used feeds in the past, choose one from your list of active feeds. Otherwise, click the burn a new feed link, then enter your feed URL.  You’ll get a new URL for your feed which you should promote or redirect to.
7. Save your changes, and start earning from the ads displayed on your Google-powered feed.
